21 years ago, a couple of guys set out to build an agency they'd want to work for—an agency that didn't take a round about marketing approach. They wanted direct hits.

At our core, we are creative problem solvers. We don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” or that an experience is limited to an event, street team, or stunt. So we built an agency that is an evolving experience—an experience in finding the best people from each industry and giving them the freedom to build.

Anybody can say these things, but we are a “Show Not Tell” kind of agency.

Brad Nierenberg

Leveraging 25+ years of experience in event and experiential marketing, Brad pushes the boundaries as our CEO and founder, and moves the needle in innovative ways for brands to connect with consumers for clients such as GEICO, Enterprise, TD Bank, and Jagermeister.

John Piester

John got his start in experiential marketing 2 decades ago. After 2 years with the 2002 Winter Olympics Committee, he returned to the agency world to work with brands such as Coca-Cola, Harley-Davidson, Delta Airlines, and ESPN. Now RedPeg’s #2 guy, John and his wife are enjoying life in NoVA with their 3 kids and dog, Mojo.

Fredda Hurwitz

Equal parts CMO, brand strategist & global business development expert, Fredda is RedPeg’s special sauce. She’s spent the past 20+ years helping famous brands (e.g. American Express, Coke, MINI, and Nespresso) rise above the noise by creating strategically-sound (and inspiring) brand experiences.

Eric Hansen

Eric is a self-proclaimed Excel/numbers geek, only to be surpassed by his Yankees, Giants, and Hoyas trivia prowess. He is an avid traveler, having visited more than 40 countries. Among them, Ecuador, where Eric and his wife adopted their son.

Sam Hanks

VP of Creative

Sam’s a UX/UI design whiz who founded tech startups before jumping into experiential marketing. Prior to leading RedPeg’s creative team, he worked wonders for Marvel, Verizon and Toyota. His claim to fame? He created the original Napster logo. He's also quite good at the guitar and roughhousing with his kids.

Marc McEwen

VP of Client Services

Marc heads up Client Service on the East Coast. Overseeing clients like GEICO, TD Bank, Enterprise, and VA Lottery—Marc brings 13 years of experience to RedPeg. He's also very proud of his Canadian heritage, so if you're in town, stop by and say hi, eh?

Kristin Daniels

VP of Client Services

After spending 15 years with Heineken, Kristin leads client service for RedPeg on the West Coast. Kristin's love for connecting the marketing dots to drive our client programs to the next level is matched only by her love for surfing, festivals, ultra marathons, and of course, her family.

Martin Codd

VP of Operations

RedPeg's resident Brit, Martin has 17+ years of event experience, marketing a broad range of brands, developing organizational infrastructure, managing teams and creating integrated experiential programs and events. These days, Martin is happiest overseeing operations here at RedPeg.

RedPeg is a part of The NITROUS Effect.

Nitrous Effect™ is a unique cross-company collaboration of senior specialists that solve brand challenges better and faster than the traditional multi-agency model.

RedPeg Cares

What began as a small get together has emerged into DC’s biggest and best charity poker tournament, benefitting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. A star-studded charity event, Chance for Life features a 400-person poker tournament, a wine and chef’s tasting hosted by a local celebrity chef, and an after party that keeps everyone dancing late into the night. To date, Chance for Life has raised more than $1.7M for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and will only continue to grow.
